WINE NOTES

Pierre Henri Morel is the right-hand man to a Rhone Valley legend – Michel Chapoutier, of the eponymous winery. The vineyard and winery practices mirror those of his boss – biodynamics, natural winemaking – and the wines are vinified in M.Chapoutier facilities. After just a few years, Pierre Henri Morel’s wines have impressed critics, and he has cemented himself as a surefire winemaker to watch.
The low-production 2010 vintage is universally heralded as one of the best in decades. Very few 2010 Chateauneuf-du-Papes are available at this price! Given the quality for the price across the board, Pierre Henri Morel and his wines will be in the upper echelons of Rhone Valley winemaking before long. International Wine Cellar
